Service Description

Let’s turn stressful walks into calm, confident outings, even when you can’t be there. Walk & Train is for busy owners with strong, large or reactive dogs who need structured, professional support. This isn’t a standard walk. It’s targeted training on the move. Each 45 minute session is structured training in your local area. A professional trainer works directly with your dog on lead skills, manners and calm behaviour while addressing pulling, barking, lunging and reactivity. We build confidence and fulfilment while helping your dog develop the skills they need for everyday life. Your dog is picked up and dropped off from your door, so you don’t need to be present. Most dog guardians choose sessions while they’re at work. Sessions are tailored to your goals and your dog’s individual needs, with careful exposure to new environments. We provide treats and use our own leads. Your initial assessment is a 45 minute to 1 hour booking with you and your dog. We’ll work through your goals and provide feedback you can implement straight away. Feedback is designed around your lifestyle and commitments, so training is realistic and achievable. After the assessment, you’ll have homework to get started on straight away. A tailored training plan and training summary will then be emailed to you within 1–2 weeks, giving you a clear record of what we discussed that you can refer back to as you continue your dog’s training. After each weekly Walk & Train session, you’ll receive a report card with an update on the session and any homework, where applicable. The initial assessment is $205 including GST. Weekly Walk & Train sessions are $120 including GST. At least 12 weeks is recommended for weekly bookings to achieve meaningful results. Results will depend on your dog’s individual needs and the consistency of your training between sessions. If you have two dogs, the initial assessment is $235 including GST. Follow-up Walk & Train sessions are $150 for 1 hour, with both dogs receiving a minimum of 30 minutes of individual training time. Applications are now open for the November 2026 intake.
